Rob Leicester Wagner is a longtime Inland Empire reporter, editor, and author.
He has written as a reporter for the Corona Daily Independent, writing a prize winning series of articles on the living conditions of migrant workers in the citrus industry. He has written for the then Ontario- Daily Report, San
Gabriel Valley Tribune, now- Ontario, Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, where he became he managing editor.
In 2001 he left the Inland Empire and joined the Record in Stockton, California, as features editor. Sleeping Giant is Wagner’s 19th book. He previously has authored books on automotive, film, regional, and journalism history.
